Access road: (Last section, to start of trail/poarking place) graded gravel

Car Security: Relatively safe from public areas/veld fires
Trail format: Open ended trails with shuttle service
Map: Colour with contour lines and additional information
Brochure: General basic information on trail and guide for 3 days
Markers: No trail markers obvious clear route along beach and guide for 3 days
Environmental Education: Interpretative trail

Safety:
Warning signs: Dangerous places (such as e.g. cliffs well managed)
Crossings: Safe and effective river/road crossigs/stiles/ ladders or escape routes controlled and managed by field guide
Telephone: Phone access limited
Medical Aid: Basic medical aid or back-up system near end
Hiker's safety en route: Reasonable safety of hikers en route and at huts
Water: No water
