Basic Trail Description Noko (porcupine in Tshwana) hiking trail is situated in the Vredefort Dome Area, North West Province. It consists of 3 sections: Venterskroon to Dome Mountain Park to Bundu camp. Length 7 km, 12 km and 7 km. The trail provides breathtaking views over the Rooderand area and Vaal River. The Vredefort area hosts a variety of fauna and flora such as Springbok and Leopard. You will find wild olive trees in abundance as well as plumbago and Rhus magalismontanum. Direction: Take the R53 (Parys) road to Potchefstroom. Take the gravel road turnoff to Venterskroon (±14km. |
