Basic Trail Description:

There is a 10 km network of circular routes within the nature reserve. Hikers should be aware that the paths are not adequately marked (signposted) but the use of the map provided at the entrance should suffice. The trails take you up to the highest point in the area, from where you can experience magnificent views of the surrounding urban landscape. It then drops down and follows the Moreleta Spruit. All along the trail one can enjoy the magnificent birdlife, since both Highveld and Bushveld bird species are found within the confines of the reserve.

There are also numerous picnic spots and bird viewing decks along the route where one can sit down and enjoy a tranquil lunch.
